City Policies

Procurement Policy - The purpose of this Administrative Policy is to define procurement procedures for each city department to follow based on the type of good or service being acquired and to set forth the process for disposing of city assets. The Administrative Policy shall be effective February 9, 2024 when it was approved by the City Council of Jamaica Beach.  Any prior Administrative Policies adopted pursuant to this are hereby repealed.

Council Code of Ethics - The Jamaica Beach City Council has adopted this Code of Ethics and Conduct for Elected and Appointed Officials for members of the City Council and the City’s boards, committees, and commissions to assure public confidence in the integrity of local government and its effective and fair operation.  Adopted by the City Council of Jamaica Beach on February 9, 2024.

Personnel Policy - This employee handbook represents the written personnel policies, procedures, and guidelines of the City of Jamacia Beach. These policies and procedures are designed to recognize the personal needs of the employee as well as provide administrative direction, conformity, and continuity necessary to the accomplishment of assigned job responsibilities.
