Regatta Basin aka the "Marina" Boat Ramp

Located on Basin Drive near Jolly Roger Road, the City of Jamaica Beach Regatta Basin aka the "Marina" facility features a single, stabilized, paved boat ramp that provides access to the canals, which lead to West Bay; a parking area; and seating area (no restrooms).

  • Owned and regulated by the City of Jamaica Beach, Texas
  • Be careful using the Boat Ramp.
  • City is not responsible for accidents.
  • Boat Slips are privately owned.
  • The Regatta Basin is monitored routinely by the Jamaica Beach Police Department.
  • Boats and trailers left over 24 hours will be subject to removal.

Marina Permits

  • The City of Jamaica Beach issues Marina permits in compliance with Ordinance 2021-3. 
  • City Hall is open to process Marina permits Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and on Friday from 8:00am until Noon.
  • Anyone accessing the Marina without a valid permit will be ticketed.
  • Non-Residents / Guests must complete the guest permits application with the property owner because proof of residency will be verified at the time of application.
