Swimming Pool

The Jamaica Beach Swimming Pool is located next to the City Park on Jolly Roger Road. A local organization called "Friends of Jamaica Beach" donated the lot to the City of Jamaica Beach with an agreement the city would use the property for a swimming pool.  After 15+ years of consideration, the pool was finally constructed in 2014 with funds collected from Hotel Occupancy Taxes.

Pool is Closed for the Season

Opening Day: May 2024 - Closing Day: September 2024

Hours: Tuesday-Thursday, Sunday 11-7 / Friday-Saturday 11-8 (Weather Permitting)

Daily Entry Fee:

$5.00 per person ages 7 and up

Children 6 and under are free

Individual Season Pass Fees:

$50 per person ages 18 to 64

$40 Senior (65+) and Veteran Discount

$30 per person ages 7-17

*All daily and individual season passes must be purchased at the pool during operating hours*

(Pool Closure Notice) - For your safety, the pool will be closed due to weather events such as lightning and thunderstorms. If you're at a pool during a weather event, please follow the guidance of lifeguards on duty. Check the current status of the pool by calling in advance. 

Refunds will not be issued due to weather closure

Please read the Pool Rules. The information provided is tentative, actual dates and hours of operation or other updates concerning the pool will be posted on the city's homepage prior or throughout the season. 

The City of Jamaica Beach swimming pool is open to the public (with the purchase of admission). Revenues generated from the admission fee are used to pay operation and maintenance expenses. The daily entry fee for residents and non-residents is $5.00 per person ages 7 and up. Season passes are available for purchase at the pool during business hours for $50.00 per adult (18 to 64), $40 for seniors 65+ and veterans, $30.00 per child (7-17). Individual season pass membership can be purchased at the pool anytime during the operating season. Please note at the beginning and end of the season, the pool will be open on weekends only while local, public schools are in session.

Anyone intruding on the premises before/after hours or during non-operating months will be in violation of Ordinance 99-04, which is a Class C Misdemeanor and can be punishable by a fine.
